...so i find myself getting busier and busier yet, so i'm pretty happy about that. not so much by the number of things that i'm doing each day, how many activities i have planned or whatever, but moreso the quality of the time that i'm spending doing stuff. went to danshui again with a girl, mindy, today. she's one of the students to whom i gave that speech...uhh...like two and a half years or so ago. one and a half? something like that. one of those high schoolers. well...she was a third-year student last semester, and so now that it's over with, and she's taken the jcee, the college entrance exam, she'll be in a university in a few months. she's tomboyish, also kinda bleached her hair, waxes it up in a really cool fashion, and wants to be an english teacher in the future.

but, so, ah, danshui...was really fun. lesse...walked around from like 11:30 to 6 or so, after and before, respectively, an hour-long mrt ride. lesse...saw a whole lot of shops, ate a bunch of stuff--such as this "chou dou fu," or "stinky tofu," with some spicy sauce on it, which was pretty good, fried (whole) squid, which was *really* good, some kind of tofu with noodles in it, kinda sweet and spicy, which was all right, thousand year egg, some kind of bird egg cooked with fish--really good--and a bunch of other things. oh, a cone of ice cream like thirty cm tall--you know, because it was really hot out and i didn't want to get something that would melt too quickly and drip all over me, such as a medium or large--like 75 cm. watermelon juice (unfortunately watered down). some kind of indescribable sweet drink, pretty good. bunches of other stuffs.

...but, because i had to be there at 11ish and i figured it'd take a while to get there, i had to get up at like 9:30 for a quick shower before going. and that was after going to sleep at like three. so i'm really tired, have class tomorrow, and think i'll go get on that sleep. oh, but cross country camp news arrived today. hopefully everybody interested got the info...but this isn't the toime (is how i typo'd it, which reminds me that i've been listening to a lot of "stranded at the drive-in" and "the decemberists" in the past...day, and i'm liking them both a whole lot.) or place to talk about that. maybe later. maybe in a different blog...so many from which to choose, right? yeah, whatever...
